- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪My child's permanent retainer became partially unattached causing pain and discomfort. We called the emergency number to have it removed or fixed the next day. They seemed quick at response and scheduled an appointment for 9:20 the following morning. When we arrived at the office the appointment could not be found. (Not the first time they haven't communicated or requested the info they needed.) She asked me to wait while she figured it out. After 40 minutes passed, I returned to her desk for the info. I was told "it's going to be a while..." Apparently, they are too busy with new patients they can't be bother with this small issue of discomfort and simply remove it and schedule a replacement later. Our services have been paid in full; however, the biggest issue to me is a child sitting uncomfortable in the waiting room for hours (when they said next chair is hers but I have counted 4 go back since) for a procedure that takes mere minutes.
